Re-designed User Interface
We have created a brand new user interface with a new style and a new philosophy. We are moving from traditional panel design to a new island design where everything is an island , only take the space that it absolutely needs.This opens up more space for the things that matter.
Map View
Top Bar
The top bar has been converted into islands , first one on the left has the navigation options like home page , projects map view etc. The center island has the searchbar . This search bar is significantly smaller than the previous version . It serves the same purpose but occupies less space.
Project Sidebar
The project sidebar is now a floating island rather than a full sized panel. It has a new color scheme improving visibility . New project card , The buttons have been re-arranged . The lab button is now smaller and is accompnied by the show on map button . The management button is now renamed to open project.
Project Management view
Top Bars fused into one
The two top bars have been used into one . The search bar has been shortened , creating more room for the tabs.

Lists
All the lists have been made more compact and given new colors for better visibility.
Lab 3D
Project and Properties panel
The Project panel and the properties panel have been fused into one single panel and is collapsed by default . It can be expaned when needed by clicking on the properties button at the top left corner .
Menu bar
The menu bar at the top has now been converted into 3 islands . First one on the top left has the shortcuts for navigating to Home page and projects map. It also displays the name of the active project and has a button to go to management tab of the same project. The center island is a toolbar which replaces the tools and clipboxs dropdown menus. The last one at the top right corner contains the save button , quality settings and the new toggle for switching between the sharp and smooth modes.
Navigation Dock
The new navigation dock adds a dropdown menu for different views like top , bottom etc . Previpusly they were button in the dock . This makes more space for other items and is easier to use. The Panorama toggle hase been moved here too , which previously used to be in the project panel. Lastly we have added new mode called floor plan mode . more about in navigation section.
Re-designed Navigation
We have redisigned the way you navigate point clouds in stiple labs.
Replaced Joystick with Keyboard Navigation
We have replaced joystick with keyboard navigation . Now you can press W key to go forward , A to go left , S to go back and D to go right . To inscrease the speed press R and to slow down use F.
New Floor Plan view
We have added new floor plan view, which will show the top-down view of the point cloud and make controls similar to a map. You can useleft click and drag to pan and right click, drag to rotate and scroll to zoom-in/out. If you rotate the pointcloud it will give you the doll-house view. You can set custom levels by using the slider on the right . Once added you will get a list to cycle through.
Redesigned Panoramic view
We have fully redesigned the panoramic viewing experience. We have removed the panels that used to limit the view , replaced the globes with disks and more ...
Replaced Globes with Disks
We have replaced the globes for panoramic images with disks . These disks are always visible , both in the pointcloud and the panoramic picture. Now you no longer need to unfocus to switch to another panoramic image.
View persists when switching to point cloud
Now switching to point cloud from a panoramic image will continue the same view instead of taking you to previous position in point cloud before toggling the panoramic image.
Measure from Images
Now you are measure from images . We dynamically toggle on point clouds and superimpose them with the image , allowing you to meaasure without leaving the panorama mode . Once you are done taking the measurement , point clouds will be hidden again.
Performance Improvements
We have made some under the hood improvements, resulting in up to 3x faster load times.
